Cote Du Soleil

2009 Dacalier Cote Du Soleil

Tasting Notes:

“Sign of the sun” is a beautiful blend of Clarksburg Viognier with just a kiss of Napa Valley Chardonnay.   This wine spent 16 months aging in neutral french oak barrels and is a lovely example of a french Viognier.   Tropical notes on the nose and on the palate is honeysuckle, Peach and Pear.  The Chardonnay adds a touch of creaminess on the finish that leaves you wanting more.

Food Pairings:

Oysters on the back patio grill are the first things that come to mind as well as fresh crab, or a wonderful summer salad with a light vinagrette.
