2008 Dacalier Première Rosé

Tasting Notes:
The color reminds you of apricot roses or smoked salmon. Your nose takes you to warm summer days where strawberry, rhubarb, kiwi and melon are married with subtle hints of rose blossoms. Strawberry and a whisper of smoke on the palate lead you to subtle layers of complex fruit. A crisp round mouth feel and mellow, long, full finish completes the journey with a hint of blood orange.
Food Pairings:
Serve slightly chilled with goat cheese, prosciutto wrapped melon, anything off the grill from portobella mushrooms to pork loin and don’t forget grilled salmon.
